Narrative Visual Sequence "Car Key Gnomes"

For my project I completed a series of photographs as my visual sequence. The Title of the Piece is "Car Key Gnome" and illustrates part of a gnome taking a ring of keys and hiding them underneath the couch as a comedic take on how people lose their keys.

I've got no photos to show, as I've been using this class period trying to come up with any sort of idea that is both sequential and not dumb. I've decided that I will do a series of photos, lined up on a grid to display the passage of time. I had a lot of ideas, but this is the one I've settled on. My idea will focus on a set of keys and what happens to them to make them lost. I'll have the actual work posted tomorrow.

So far, my main themes surround the cycle of creating art. Personally, I get motivated in more of a "do it or don't" sort of way; I generally wait until I have an idea to start creating; unless of course, I've had some booze. This is a bit of a self-destructive cycle, and that is sort of the idea I want to capilate on. The one word I want to focus on is "self-destructive". This has been partially inspired by the idea of the tortured artist, as most artists are known for their legacy and the works they create when their life is full of strife, divorce, drinking, drugs, or infamy.
